Air Water Gas Solutions, a subsidiary of Air Water America, is New Jersey based and is a leading global supplier of process plants, technology engineering services and industrial gases. AWGS’s product portfolio includes technologies to produce atmospheric gases such as oxygen, nitrogen and argon, and additional gases such as hydrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, syngas, carbon monoxide, pure hydrocarbons, and natural gas liquefaction plants.
To advance the merchant gas market, AWGS has developed a new approach to the Air Separation Unit (ASU) — one that broadens access beyond the traditional, centralized supply chain.
Instead of the legacy model dominated by a few major producers, our ASU strategy connects a single Air Water ASU to a wider network of distributors, bulk users, and industrial partners. This creates opportunities for merchant capacity deployment through distributor partnerships, industrial alliances, and regional collaborations.
The Gas Solutions Division supports customers through multiple supply models — bulk deliveries, onsite generation, and pipeline systems — ensuring dependable access to essential gases for manufacturing, healthcare, energy, food processing, and other industries.

Specialty Gases & Chemical Systems
Air Water Gas Solutions offers a portfolio of specialty gas and chemical systems designed for high-purity, high-performance applications. Our Ultra-Pure Ammonia Production System delivers the level of purity required for electronics, specialty chemical processes, and advanced manufacturing. Our Ultra-Pure Nitrous Oxide Plant supports medical, semiconductor, and chemical production needs with consistent, ultra-clean output. We also provide a scalable Ethanol Synthesis System engineered for efficient production, dependable purification, and precise process control. Cryogenic & Non-Cryogenic Offerings
Air Water Gas Solutions also offers modular onsite gas generation systems designed for dependable, point-of-use supply. Our Modular PSA Nitrogen Generator produces nitrogen on demand using proven PSA technology, giving customers a continuous, low-cost, and reliable alternative to delivered product. For oxygen needs, our Modular VSA Oxygen Generator provides a compact, energy-efficient solution suited for standalone industrial facilities and healthcare environments.
